ClassWallet Return Policy
Items purchased through the ClassWallet marketplace
may be returned within 60 days of purchase,
provided that they are in like-new condition
and can be offered for resale.
Any kits or sets must be intact
with ALL items included at the time of return.
What can be returned?
Materials in new, saleable condition may be returned within 60 days of purchase, with prior approval. A 10% restocking fee will be charged on all returns.
New, saleable condition means/includes, but is not limited to:
- NO visible damage, writing, marks, highlighting, and/or odor.
- Products purchased in shrink-wrap (such as Science kits and Handwriting Whiteboards) must still be in original wrapping.
To be eligible for return:
- Consumable materials (including worktexts, Science Kits, etc.) may not contain any writing, missing page, or be partially used.
- All materials must be returned. If a product you wish to return was sold as a prepackaged bundle or kit, all components must be returned to us to be eligible for refund.
- All items returned must be postmarked no more than 60 days after the date your order was delivered.
- A completed return authorization form must accompany your return package. (Please contact our Customer Service department for the return form.) Returns that arrive to our warehouse and do not include a completed return authorization form will not be eligible for refund.
- The items being returned must have been purchased through the ClassWallet marketplace and fulfilled by A Reason For. Items purchased from other sources (your local bookstore, Amazon, distributors, or any other ClassWallet vendor) are subject to the individual seller's return policy.
What cannot be returned?
Items that have been used in any manner may not be returned.
This includes student worktexts with writing or pages removed (or that have had the binding removed at the request of the customer), teacher guidebooks with notes or writing, kits or bundles with items missing or partially consumed, or any book that has been damaged due to use or mishandling.
In addition, shrink-wrapped items that have been unwrapped are not returnable.
Neither are items with visible damage, writing, marks, highlighting, or strong odors.
Items purchased through any source other than the ClassWallet marketplace, and fulfilled directly by A Reason For, are not eligible for return. Those items must be returned to the retailer or distributor from which they were originally purchased.
How do I initiate my return?
If you have a return, please contact our Customer Service team. We will provide a return authorization form that will need to be completed and included in your package.
Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Packages must be shipped prepaid; the cost is your responsibility. We strongly suggest shipping returns via FedEx or UPS, and purchasing insurance for the shipment.
Please take the time to pack items carefully and remember to keep them clean, dry, and immobilized. Please use adequate packing material and appropriately-sized boxes. Boxes with visible damage or obviously poor packaging may be refused at time of delivery, as A Reason For cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred in return shipments.

When can I expect to receive a refund?
Once the package arrives at our warehouse, we will review the products and confirm that your return complies with the above policies. Returns are subject to review and will not be approved for refund until all products are received and reviewed by our warehouse team. Any return that does not comply with the above policies may be rejected or may be subject to additional restocking fees, at our discretion.
Upon approval, we will process any applicable refunds within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued as a credit to your ClassWallet account.
The return amount will be equal to the purchase price of the items, minus a 10% restocking fee and any shipping costs charged at the time of the original order.
If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped item directly from us, please call or email us so that we can make it right. It is our pleasure and privilege serve you! We will gladly ship replacement product and assist you with your return. Defective or damaged products should be reported within 10 days for replacement.
